Symptom

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the India Withholding Tax TDS/TCS Status report application.
  2. Enter the relevant selection parameters.
  3. Execute the report.
  4. Observe that expected documents are not displayed in the results.

Cause

The documents were posted without a section code value.

Resolution

  • Ensure that all TDS/TCS relevant documents are posted with a valid section code value.
  • Re-run the India Withholding Tax TDS/TCS Status report using the required selection parameters and confirm that the documents now reflect.
