3756409 - Message no. BS002 is triggered for non-material order - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Although the settlement receiver WBS Element is configured as 'Posting Optional' in the SSCUI 103940 "Event-Based WIP and Variance Posting", the error message no. BS002 is triggered for non-material order in the app "Postprocess Event-Based Postings - Product Costing" indicating "Event-Based Cost Distribution" is not allowed (WBS &). 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The WBS element is not in Released status, which prevents the transaction 'Event-Based Cost Distribution'. 

Release the relevant WBS element, then Simulate and Post the order in the app "Postprocess Event-Based Postings - Product Costing".
