3756433 - Development goal plan shows 'Generate' instead of 'Regenerate' with AI-assisted writing

Development goal plan incorrectly reflects "Generate" instead of "Regenerate" after creating a goal with AI-assisted writing; additionally, the like and dislike options are not visible on the goal detail page.

 SAP SuccessFactors Career & Talent Development

1. Go to the Goals tab.
2. Create a Performance Goal using AI-assisted writing.
3. Observe that Regenerate and the like/dislike buttons are visible in the top-right corner of the goal detail page.
4. Return to the Goals tab.
5. Create a Development Goal using AI-assisted writing.
6. Observe that the top-right button still shows Generate (not Regenerate) and the like/dislike options are not visible.

This is a Known Issue.

Patch is scheduled to address the issue in the currently affected release: Preview on 26-May-2026 and Production on 28-May-2026.

After the patch deployment, wait up to 24 hours and then re-test the Development Goal AI-assisted creation to confirm that the button shows Regenerate and that like/dislike options appear after goal created with AI function.
