3756439 - BusinessPartnerRelationshipSUITEBulkReplicateRequest_In delete contact person returns AM049 without contact person id

Symptom

  • When attempting to delete a Contact Person via the inbound web service BusinessPartnerRelationshipSUITEBulkReplicateRequest_In, the deletion may fail in SAP S/4HANA with the error: AM 049 – “Person could not be deleted as it is still used.”
  • This behavior is expected when the contact person is still referenced in the system and cannot be removed.
  • However, the error message does not indicate which specific Contact Person caused the issue.
  • If the inbound request contains multiple contact person relationships, it becomes difficult to identify which relationship instance (Contact Person) triggered the error.
