Symptom

Intermittent failures occur during Offline OData synchronization, primarily affecting DELTA_DOWNLOAD and UPLOAD requests.

The issue affects multiple users simultaneously, typically in short bursts, and has been observed across multiple production environments. Failures may occur even when the number of active users appears to be below the expected concurrency limit.

Typical errors message:

  • Too many requests. The number of concurrent INITIAL_DOWNLOAD offline requests exceeds the threshold set by the Administrator.
  • Too many requests. The number of concurrent UPLOAD offline requests exceeds the threshold set by the Administrator.
