3756646 - ARBCIG_SYNC_SAP_ACIG prompts for credentials and fails with HTTP 401 after upgrade to ARBCI1 SP25

Symptom

When executing transaction ARBCIG_SYNC_SAP_ACIG (Sync SAP Information to Ariba CIG), the system prompts the user to re-enter the PUser credentials via a pop-up dialog, even though credentials are already maintained in the selection screen previously.

If the credentials prompt is cancelled, the execution fails with:

  • HTTP 401 Unauthorized error in logs
  • Error visible in SRT_LOG and CIG HTTP logs

If credentials are re-entered manually, the request succeeds with and no issue seen.

This issue occurs only after upgrading to ARBCI1 SP25 and does not occur in SP24 systems.
