- Sign in with valid credentials.
- After authentication, the application displays: “You don't have permission to access this page.”
Resolution
Our engineer has identified a known issue and a patch to tentatively fix is planned to July 20th.
As a workaround, please change the URL of the page with: https://<SF_URL>/sf/home?bplte_company=<companyID>. Then press the key Enter to access the home page.
- For example (for DC68): https://performancemanager4.successfactors.com/sf/home?bplte_company=<companyID>
- For the correct URL based on your Data Center please see KBA 2089448 - SuccessFactors Data Center Name, Location, URL, Domain Name, Mail Server details, SFTP details and Outbound IP addresses
As a permanent workaround, each user can set their start page as the home page, then the issue will not occur anymore:
- Login to the system
- Access the following URL directly: https://<SF_URL>/sf/options
- Click on Start Page
- Select Home as the start page
- Log out
- Log back in and verify the issue is resolved
