3756768 - Attachment picker shows only image/text files and Excel files cannot be selected - SAP Service and Asset Manager

Symptom

When adding an attachment in the SAP Service and Asset Manager:

  • The file picker displays only image and text file types.
  • Microsoft Excel files (*.xls, *.xlsx) are not available for selection.
  • Even when the user selects All Files in the file picker, Excel files do not appear.
  • As a result, Excel documents cannot be attached from the Windows client.
