3756818 - Browse by Category showing all items in Enhanced Search

Symptom

When clicking Browse by Category and selecting any category it will show all items in the enhanced search results instead of the items only tied to the category selected.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Learning Homepage
  2. Click Browse Library button
  3. Select Browse by Category and select any category
  4. Enhanced Search shows all items instead of the items soley tied to the category selected

Cause

The configuration librarySearchFilter[Category] is set to false in the library configuration file.

Resolution

  1. Go to Learning Administration
  2. Navigate to System Configuration > LIBRARY  
  3. Search for librarySearchFilter[Category] and set this to true
