3756861 - IDOC failed with error "cvi customizing does not allow to create a supplier for bp grouping ..." (MDG_BS_ECC_BP_CHECK022)

Symptom

  • During business partner replication from ERP to EWM, the IDOC (idoc type ZEWMDEBMAS) processing fails with error: “CVI Customizing does not allow to create a supplier for BP grouping …” (Message no. MDG_BS_ECC_BP_CHECK022). Even though this IDoc is intended to create a customer, it is strange for the system to check vendor-related configurations, as creating a vendor is not desired,  and vice versa.
  • The similar error can also occur during the processing of other message types. Such as DEBMAS, CREMAS, ZEWMCREMAS
  • Other error message is "cvi customizing does not allow to create a customer for bp grouping ..." (MDG_BS_ECC_BP_CHECK023)
