3756909 - "Accounting data: &1 / &2 already exists" error occurs during simulation phase in Migrate Your Data app.

Below error occurs during the simulation phase for the migration object “Product - extend existing record by new org levels” in the Migrate Your Data app.

1. Open the Migrate Your Data app and create a migration project for “Product - extend existing record by new org levels”.
2. Fill the migration template.
3. Upload the completed file.
4. Execute the prepare and mapping tasks.
5. Run Simulate Migration.
6. Observe the error.

With the “Product - extend existing record by new org levels” migration object, an existing product can only be extended by adding new organizational levels.

Updating or enhancing data for organizational levels that already exist is not supported.

• Review the migration template or staging tables and ensure they contain only new organizational levels to be added for the product.
• Remove any accounting data entries for organizational levels that already exist in the target system, then re-run the simulation.
• If existing organizational levels need to be update, use Mass Maintenance to update the products instead of the migration object.
