Symptom

Unable to display XML of Individual Tax Invoice in eDocument Cockpit due to error "The data object could not be created: The type does not exist"

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the eDocument Cockpit app.
  2. Search for a South Korea Individual Tax Invoice.
  3. Choose Display > Display XML.
  4. The error appears: "The data object could not be created: The type does not exist".

Cause

Related communication arrangement is missing, which prevents XML preview generation.

Resolution

Please ensure that a communication arrangement for scenario 0468 is created as per eDocument Electronic Invoicing for South Korea – Documentation.
