3756985 - CNPJ tax id field in Brazil accepts only numbers; error AR104 when entering alphanumeric values

Symptom

  • In the SAP system for Brazil, the CNPJ Tax ID field accepts only numeric values.
  • During testing, an error occurs when entering alphanumeric Tax IDs.
  • Error: “Tax code 1 XXX must contain only numbers” (Message No. AR104).
  • Note 3583627 has been implemented but issue not solved.
