3757292 - Gender value is not flowing to Rehire verification from EC to ONB - Onboarding

During rehire verification for rehire with old employment, the gender field under personal information is blank and does not show the record from the previously profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Terminate an employee in employee central.
2. Process the candidate in recruiting management and initiate onboarding.
3. During rehire verification, select rehire with old employment.
4. In personal information, observe that the gender field is blank.

Note: In this scenario there is no gender field configured in RCM.

A business rule configured to default the gender value, assigned to personalInfo in Manage Business Configuration, prevented the gender from flowing to Onboarding during the rehire process.

1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
2. Access personalInfo
3. Find the rule to default the gender value in Trigger Rules section
4. Disable or remove the rule.
