3757382 - How to remove the consumer flag (KNA1-DEAR6) manually in the transaction BP - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • How can we remove the "Consumer (KNA1-DEAR6)" flag for a Customer Business Partner in transaction BP and convert the consumer to a normal customer. 
  • The "Consumer" checkbox in transaction BP under the role FLCU00 Customer (FI) in the Customer: General Data tab is greyed out and cannot be unchecked.
  • A customer is wrongly created under the account group "Consumer".
