3757441 - Custom Fields Not Displayed in Manage Batches app

Customers are unable to create or expose custom fields for Batch objects in the Manage Batch application.

After attempting to create custom fields using the Custom Fields application and extending data source LO_BM_BATCH_SRV, the custom fields do not appear in the Manage Batch application during SAP Adapt UI personalization.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. In the Custom Fields app, extend the data source LO_BM_BATCH_SRV.
2. Publish.
3. Open the Manage Batch app and enter Adapt UI; the extended data source is not available to select or add.

The creation and usage of custom fields for Batch objects in the Manage Batch application is currently not supported.

Currently, it is not possible to:

• Create custom fields for Batch objects using the Custom Fields application.
• Expose custom batch fields through data source LO_BM_BATCH_SRV.
• Add custom batch fields in the Manage Batch application using SAP Adapt UI.

Only standard fields provided by the application can be added through Adapt UI.
