3757506 - Specific Organizational Objects are not being displayed, updated or deleted properly

When displaying, updating or deleting specific Organizational Objects' infotypes, the operation fails. Depending on the situation, there might not be an error message indicating that the operation failed.

Not all operations may fail, as, for example, the object might display fine but the update or deletion of its associated records might fail.

Conversely, a given operation might fail for one object but work for another object.

Even so, the scenario is consistent in a way that for the same object and the same operation, that operation will always fail.

The object is available and valid in table HRP1000.

Both standard and HR authorizations have been verified, and the user executing the operation has no authorizations issues accused in transaction SU53 or in an analysis in transaction HRAUTH.

Examples of this issue manifesting:

• When navigating the Organizational Structure in the bottom left panel for transaction PPOM_OLD, certain child Organizational Units and Positions do not appear when expanding the corresponding parent nodes in the tree structure. They appear in transaction PPOM.
• When evaluating a path with transaction PPST or report RHSTRU00, certain Organizational Objects never show in the results.
• In transaction OBWP, select an approval level, press button "Details (OrgObject)" and subsequent "Remove Org. Object" to remove a specific Organizational Unit, then save. No error will appear, but also if you reload the transaction, the Organizational Unit was not removed.
• Running report RHRHDL00 to delete a specific Organizational Object or report RHGRENZ4 to delimit it does not actually select it, even if the ID of the object is correctly input in the selection screen.
• In transaction OOCU_RESP, trying to assign any User to a specific Responsibility fails without any error message.
• In transaction OOCU_RESP, if you try to edit a specific Responsibility, it will raise a shortdump with MESSAGE_TYPE_X / SAPLOLEA.
• Running the Infoporter with report ECPAO_OM_OBJECT_EXTRACTION for a specific Organizational Object does not retrieve any data for the object.
• Running report RHALEINI or transaction PFAL for a specific Organizational Object returns error message "No data selected for distribution" (5-033).
