3757603 - Error "An internal error occurred while checking the remote source" in S/4HANA On-Premise Connection - SAP Datasphere

Cloud Connector is selected for Data Provisioning Option under Remote Tables section of S/4HANA On-Premise connection to use the ABAP SQL service to federate data with remote tables.

When validating the S/4HANA On-Premise connection in Datasphere, below error message is displayed in the details:

• Remote Tables: An internal error occurred while checking the remote source. Cause: internal error: Cannot get remote source objects: Could not get tables, Code: 403, SQL State: HY000. Refer to the adapter logs for more details.
