3757676 - 1H 2026 - Applicant Status Update within 'Edit' Applicant status flow does not respect required status configuration - Recruiting Management

Applicant Status update/change within Job Application via ‘Edit’ Applicant status flow, does not respect required non-selectable status when skipped in Latest Applicant Workbench. When the user who does not have selectable by permission to a required status in the Applicant Status flow, tries to move the application status to a different status by skipping the required status via ‘Edit’ Applicant status flow, the required status configured is not being respected. The required status is being skipped, and application status is being changed successfully.

This scenario was identified as a product gap in the feature functionality. 

A code fix has been developed for this issue, and the fix will be delivered via patch which will be deployed on 11th of June, 2026.
