3757713 - Select template in Campaign: error 'select template(s)' during campaign activation

Symptom

In Campaign, error "Select template(s)" appears when activating a campaign.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Add a Send Email step configured as Object-based (Accounts and Contacts) to a campaign and save.
  2. Activate the campaign.
  3. The error "Select template(s)" pops up.

Cause

A template was not selected after choosing Object-based Contacts/Accounts for the Send Email step.

Resolution

  1. In the campaign’s Send Email step, choose Object-based and select Contacts/Accounts.
  2. Click Contacts/Accounts to open the template selection and choose the specific email template to use.
  3. Confirm the selected template name appears next to Object-based.
  4. Activate the campaign.
