3757736 - Custom Portal Banner Not Supported During O2H Migration in SAP Incentive Management

Symptom

  • During an Oracle-to-HANA (O2H) migration, customers request that a custom/personalized maintenance banner be displayed on their tenant portal (e.g., https://<tenant>.callidusondemand.com/) instead of the standard SAP Sales Cloud maintenance message.
  • Example of a custom banner requested by a customer:

"The <TENANTNAME> SPM system is currently unavailable while undergoing migration to a new platform. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please reach out to the SPM Support Team <CUSTOMEREMAIL> for any questions."

  • Standard SAP banner displayed during maintenance/migration:

"We'll be back soon! Sorry for the inconvenience but we're performing some maintenance at the moment. We'll be back online shortly! – SAP Sales Cloud"
