3757906 - Column width is not auto-optimized in Gridview in SAP GUI for HTML (webgui)

Symptom

After a Kernel upgrade, table columns are not behaving correctly in webgui:

  • In SAP GUI for HTML (or Fiori), column widths are not auto-optimized; users must manually resize columns to view full values.
  • The problem only occurs in the web environment. In SAP GUI for Windows, the scenario works as expected, column widths are auto-optimized and values display correctly.
  • The problem also occurs in gridview displayed inside a F4 Help.
