3757993 - fixed-date scheduling drifts for long-cycle maintenance plans due to mixed units in strategy and packages in SAP s/4hana

Symptom

  • In strategy-based maintenance plans configured with scheduling type Fixed Date, call dates for long cycles (for example, 10 years and above) progressively shift by months instead of keeping the same day/month.
  • Initial calls may be correct, but later calls move from the expected key date (for example, from 05.01.YYYY to 05.02.YYYY, then 05.03.YYYY), showing a cumulative drift.
