3758098 - catalog: 'Open link' button in asset description is disabled after save - SAP datasphere

• When adding a website link to a catalog asset description using the edit link button, the link can be opened in edit mode.
• After saving, in display mode the 'Open link' button is grayed out and cannot be clicked.

SAP Datasphere

1. Open a catalog asset and edit its description.
2. Insert a website link using the edit link action and verify it opens while in edit mode.
3. Save the changes to return to display mode.
4. Observe that the 'Open link' button is grayed out and does not open the link.

Program error. An issue with the SAPUI5 control causes the link control to remain disabled in display mode while showing an edit-related tooltip.

The solution of this issue is currently under investigation. Please follow this KBA for updates. Use the below workarounds:

• Use Ctrl + left-click on the link to open it.
• Alternatively, right-click the link and choose Open link.
