SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3758289 - "The MIME type '*' is not supported for image files" is seen when migrating files with report RSIRPIRL.

Symptom

  • The migration of documents is being carried out using the migration program RSIRPIRL. KBA 2459712 - How to use report RSIRPIRL
  • Some documents cannot be migrated and the output of RSIRPIRL shows error: "Document has no content" 
  • As per KBA 2968408 - When RSIRPIRL entries fail with error "Document has no content"; the related SLG1 log shows the error message:

    An error occurred during creation of document with key DOCUMENT_ID_STRING_OF_CHARACTER
    The MIME type ''MIME_TYPE' is not supported for image files. 

  • Here is a screen shot of the message from the application log in transaction SLG1 shows:
