3758312 - MLCCS010 Error in Change Material app

Symptom

MLCCS010: Cost element 5000000 is not assigned to a cost component in CostCompStruct Y1.

Environment

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Change material
  2. Open Costing View 1.
  3. Change the Costing Lot Size and try to save.
  4. The system raises error MLCCS010.

Cause

The relevant cost element (for example,500000) is not assigned to any cost component in the active Cost Component Structure (for example, Y1) in configuration activity “Define Cost Component Structure” (SSCUI 102427).

Resolution

  1. Open configuration activity “Define Cost Component Structure” (SSCUI 102427).
  2. Select the relevant Cost Component Structure (for example, Y1).
  3. Assign the affected cost element (for example, 5000000) to an appropriate cost component within that structure.
  4. Save the configuration.
  5. Repeat the change of Costing Lot Size in change material and confirm the error no longer occurs.
