3758506 - Compensation Information Record not Created when editing Job Information in Latest People Profile

Compensation information record is no longer created while editing job information in the profile in latest people profile.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Go to People Profile.
2. Open the Job Information portlet.
3. Click Edit (pencil icon).
4. Change a Job Information field that has the setting “Refresh Compensation Required” = Yes.
5. Save.
6. Observe that no new Compensation Information record is created.

The “Refresh Compensation Required” setting marks the Compensation Information checkbox only in the Actions flow. In the latest edit UI (editing the Job Information portlet directly), this logic doesn’t apply, so a Compensation Information record isn’t created.

1. Perform the change via Take Action (Actions) > Change Job and Compensation Info instead of editing the Job Information portlet directly.
2. Select the new position or change the Job Information field; the Compensation Information section will be automatically flagged due to “Refresh Compensation Required”.
3. Save the transaction to create a new Compensation Information record aligned with the Job Information change.
4. Avoid using the direct edit (pencil) in Job Information when a Compensation Information record is required in latest people profile.
