Data analyzer cannot display more than 150 columns; warning messages include:

• "The recommended column limit of 100 exceeded: xxx. Please change the drill-down state or add some filters for optimal performance."
• "Column limit of 150 exceeded: yyy. Please change the drill or add some filters."

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Open a Data Analyzer insightl.
2. Place many dimensions on the Columns axis so that the table would require more than 150 columns to render.
3. Observe the warnings about exceeding the recommended (100) and enforced (150) column limits and that additional columns do not load when horizontally scrolling.

• Data Analyzer and Story tables load data differently due to their intended use cases. 
• Data Analyzer is designed as an ad hoc analysis tool for end users, allowing them to explore data by adding multiple dimensions to an axis. To optimize performance, Data Analyzer uses a lazy loading mechanism for rows, fetching 150 rows at a time and loading additional rows upon scrolling. Columns are limited to 150 as a design choice to ensure optimal performance and usability.
• In Story mode, tables are curated by a "Designer," who determines the table's structure and content for end users, limiting their ability to make changes. 

1. Reduce the number of columns by changing the drill-down state or applying filters so the total number of displayed columns does not exceed 150.
2. If more columns are needed for analysis, consider restructuring the table (for example, move measures/attributes between rows and columns) to stay within the 150-column limit.
3. If the 150-column limit does not meet your requirements, submit a feature request as per KBA 2424376 and follow up with the product owner team about this enhancement request on the SAP Customer Influence Site https://influence.sap.com/sap/ino/#/campaign/884 .
