3758760 - Filter Condition for KPI App Missing After Transport – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

You have added a predefined filter condition for a KPI App, and it's working fine in your Test system. However, after imported into the Production system, the filter condition is missing when accessing the App.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the affected KPI App in the launchpad.
  2. Observe that the predefined filter condition is not shown in the KPI App.

Cause

Resolution

1. In the source system, create an export software collection (hotfix) that includes:

  • the KPI group that contains the KPI and the report
  • the KPI app 

2. Export the software collection from the source system.

3. Import the software collection into the target system.

4. Open the KPI App and verify that the predefined filter condition is now applied.
