3758761 - Unable to upload .stp files in File Management in SAP CPQ. Error: Selected file type is not supported

Symptom

  • When attempting to upload .stp files under the Additional Files section of File Management in SAP CPQ, the following error is displayed: "Selected file type is not supported."
  • The .stp extension is also not listed among the supported file types displayed in the File Management upload dialog.
  • Adding the .stp extension to the application parameter "Allowed Content File Extensions" does not resolve the issue.
  • Additionally, .stp is not listed as a restricted file type in the SAP Help Portal documentation: As of 2311: Restricted File Types for Uploading into SAP CPQ | SAP Help Portal.
