3758817 - Missing Start/End Date and Time Tokens in Custom Workflow Emails for Time Objects After 1H 2026 Release

Symptom

After the 1H 2026 release, custom workflow email notifications for Employee Time Sheet, Attendance Request, and Time Recording objects do not correctly populate certain dynamic token values. As a result, tokens such as Start Date, End Date, Start Time, and End Time are blank or missing in the email content.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Sheet
  • SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure a custom workflow email template for Employee Time Sheet, Attendance Request, or Time Recording using the dynamic tokens Start Date, End Date, Start Time, and End Time.
  2. After the workflow email is triggered, the token values are missing unexpectedly, even though the Manage Document Template Mapping configuration is correctly maintained.

Resolution

Direct token mapping in the Production environment will be supported after the P7 patch deployment. Currently, this functionality is supported in Preview instance.
