3758839 - Material by Supplier's Material Number Value Help Returns no Data in Stock Overview

• When using the value help I: Material by Supplier's Material Number in the Stock Overview app, the search returns No Data.
• The search appears to consider only Purchasing Info Records and not purchasing contracts.
• Users expect the search to also look at purchasing contracts.

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Stock Overview app.
2. In the Material field, open the Value Help.
3. In the dialog, choose the dropdown and select I: Material by Supplier's Material Number.
4. Enter a supplier material number in the Supplier Mat. No. field and start the search.
5. Observe that the result shows No Data.

• The supplier material number is not maintained in a Purchasing Info Record for the material–supplier combination (missing PIR data).

1. Confirm that the Stock Overview value help I: Material by Supplier's Material Number is based on Purchasing Info Records and does not read purchasing contracts.
2. Open the Create Purchasing Info Records app.
3. Create or maintain the Purchasing Info Record for the relevant material and supplier.
4. In the General tab of the Info Record, maintain the Supplier Mat. No. field with the supplier’s material number.
5. Save the Info Record.
6. Return to the Stock Overview app, open the Value Help I: Material by Supplier's Material Number, and search again to verify that the entry is now returned.
