Symptom
During MIRO processing in an import scenario, IGST is not calculated on the assessable value and BCD.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Create an import purchase order with 'Basic Customs Duty' (BCD).
- Create the customs invoice as planned delivery costs.
- Enter the assessable value.
- Calculate BCD on the assessable value.
- Observe that IGST is calculated only on BCD, not on 'Assessable Value + BCD'.
Resolution
To make IGST to be calculated on both 'Assessable Value' and 'BCD' below steps need to be maintained:
- Use an import-related tax code where the tax percentage is maintained for the JIMD/JIMN condition type for that tax code in SSCUI 101016.
- After maintaining the percentage for JIMD/JIMN, IGST will be calculated on the assessable value.
