Unable to align the text box vertically in SAC

SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.2.16

1. Login to SAC
2. Navigate to files and create or open a story 
3. Create or edit a text box and open the Designer tab.  

Notice: Under alignment there is no option to align the text vertically

Vertical text alignment is not supported for text widgets; only Left, Right, Center, and Justify are available within the widget

1. For Canvas stories, select the text widget and rotate it by 90 degrees to achieve a vertical text appearance. 
2. For Responsive pages, note that rotating text widgets is currently not supported. If vertical text is required in Responsive pages, Kindly submit an enhancement request to request this feature as per - 2424376 - How do you create an enhancement request and provide feedback for SAP Analytics Cloud?
