3759091 - Error: "Not a Valid XML: Check the payload." in the Managed Gateway for Spend&Network transaction tracker

Symptom

I'm using Managed Gateway for Spend&Network (ISMG) and when I send a certain transaction from my SAP ERP to the ISMG portal, such transaction is getting failed with the following error in the transaction tracker of the ISMG portal: Not a Valid XML: Check the payload.
