3759163 - ASN Item Quantity Displays Unexpected Decimal Deviations Due to Unit of Measure Conversion Rounding

• User creates an Advanced Shipping Notification (ASN) in SAP SNC either via File Transfer or DespatchedDeliveryNotification XML message from a Supplier back-end (ERP) system
• The ASN line items are created using a Document Unit of Measure (UoM) that differs from the Base Unit of Measure defined for the product (e.g., KG vs. LB, or M vs. M2)
• The user enters whole number quantities for the ASN line items (e.g., 1234 or 9876) during creation
• Once the ASN is published/posted in the SAP SNC system, the user notices that the ASN item quantities are displayed with unexpected small decimal values, such as:
  • 1234.000001 instead of the expected 1234
  • 9875.999999 instead of the expected 9876
• The rounding deviation appears to be caused by the unit of measure conversion between the Document Unit of Measure and the Base Unit of Measure during ASN processing
• The issue results in inconsistent quantity values in the ASN, which may impact downstream processes such as goods receipt, inventory management, or invoice verification
