3759218 - Cannot restrict purchasing document type to purchase requisition only

When restricting purchasing document type to purchase requisition only in Maintain Business Roles, the system also auto-selects the purchase order category, preventing a PR-only restriction.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Maintain Business Roles app.
2. Navigate to Restrictions and choose Purchasing Document Type.
3. Select the relevant custom purchasing document types intended for purchase requisitions.
4. Set the Purchasing Document Category to purchase requisition.
5. Observe that the purchase order category is automatically selected as well, and the restriction cannot be limited to purchase requisition only.

This is a Standard system behavior.

The same authorization field for document type is used across multiple procurement documents (for example, purchase requisitions and purchase orders), so restricting by document type impacts both.

Notes: If the same document type is used for both purchase requisitions and purchase orders, separating access by category using this restriction is not possible.
