Symptom

Usernames are created with different casing across applications (IAS, S4 Cloud, Ariba, SuccessFactors). When the username is updated in S4, the IPS sync to IAS changes the username to uppercase, and other systems no longer recognize the user due to case mismatch. The requirement is to ensure that usernames in IAS are always stored in lowercase.
