3759474 - ad hoc report shows 0 for blank goal rating in latest goal management (legacy showed -999999) – SAP successfactors performance & goals

• In the legacy goal plan, when the goal “rating” field was blank, the Ad Hoc/Table report exported “-999999” in the rating column.
• In the latest goal management, when the goal “rating” field is blank, the Ad Hoc/Table report exports “0” in the rating column.
• Two scenarios observed:
• Scenario 1: Rating field is blank in the goal plan; report shows “-99999”.
• Scenario 2: Rating field shows a grey “0” (not yet evaluated) in the goal plan; report exports “0”.
• The behavior change was noticed after migrating to the new goal plan.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

1. Access the goal plan.
2. Open the  created goal
3. Check the rating-related field shown as not yet evaluated (grey “0”) versus a truly blank rating.
4. Export an Ad Hoc/Table report including the rating column.
5. Compare the export values: observe “0” when the field shows grey “0” in the plan, and “-99999” when the field is blank.

• Currently , under UXR new version, rating will be given as 0 by design 

A code fix for this issue is created and currently it is under verifying . Since rating calculation was used for a lot of use cases, it will take sometime to get verified. The plan is to deploy the code in Nov Release (2611).

Workaround :

Use grade 1-6 instead of 0-5 .
