TDS is calculated during the auto bill passing (automatic MIRO) process even though the threshold limit has not been reached.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
Auto bill passing for automatic 'MIRO' creation is not supported for India localization; therefore, India-specific TDS processing (including threshold evaluation) is not applied in this scenario.
Resolution
- Make sure not to use auto bill passing for scenarios requiring India TDS.
- TDS posting for India localization is currently supported only through the 'Create Incoming Invoices' application and the 'MIRO' transaction (including their respective apps).
Note: Auto bill passing' for automatic MIRO creation are not supported for India localization. As a result, the India-specific processing required for TDS calculation and posting will not be applied in these scenarios.
