Symptom
Role-mapped attributes are not removed from Growth portfolio when Job Role is deleted and appear as role-mapped with expected rating shown.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Growth Portfolio
SAP SuccessFactors Talent Intelligence Hub
Reproducing the Issue
1. Employee has Role-mapped attributes in Growth Portfolio.
2. Admin decided to delete his Job Role in Manage job profile content, without delimiting Skills or Competencies mappings.
3. The attributes in Growth Portfolio are still showing as Role-mapped, expected rating is shown.
Cause
This is expected system behavior: Job Role deletion doesn't trigger attributes removal from Growth Portfolio.
Resolution
Before deleting any Job role remove skills or competencies mappings from it and save the Role. This will trigger attribute removal from Employees' Growth Portfolios.
You can also delimit the mappings in bulk with import following this KBA 2718919 - Delimit Competency Mapping from Job Role Via Import - SAP for Me.
After the roles will not have any skills or competencies mapped, they can be deleted.
