3759585 - Measurement Document not Created After Confirmation of Production Order for Equipment PRT in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

Equipment PRT has a measuring point and usage formula assigned but the required measurement document is not automatically generated upon production order confirmation.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create an equipment PRT using the Create Technical Object app.
  2. Assign the equipment PRT to an operation in the routing using the Create Routing app.
  3. Create a production order (CO01).
  4. Release the production order (CO02).
  5. Confirm the production order (CO11N or CO15).
  6. Expect a measurement document to be created after confirmation.
  7. Check the measurement document (IK03) and observe that the measurement document is not automatically created.

Cause

Maintenance plan is missing in the PRT data of the Technical Object.

Resolution

Maintain the Maintenance Plan ID in the PRT data of the Technical Object.
