3759635 - Email Notification for Approval or Rejection are not sent to Maintenance Order creator in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Workflow scenario implemented to email template SWF_WORKFLOW_COMPLETE_NOTIFY does not notify the creator when a workflow is approved or rejected.
Maintenance orders are not notified of rejection and remain in the queue.

 SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a maintenance notification.
2. Create a maintenance order.
3. Change the order status to “Submit for Approval”.
4. Open My Inbox.
5. Approve or Reject the workflow task.
6. The creator does not receive any email notification.

Limited functionalities are supported for email notification of maintenance order flexible workflow.

The email notification functionality is a new feature which may not support all events for maintenance order.

As of now, the email notification supports status as shown below:

1. Maintenance Notification - created, approved, or completed 

2. Maintenance Order - created 

More status change event will be supported by the situation handling in future release.

Monitor product updates and consider submitting or upvoting improvement requests for additional maintenance order events.
