3759758 - Master Data Deletion and Selective Purge of Business Partner Data in SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2

You want to delete all Business Partner master data (Accounts, Contacts, Individual Customers, Partners, Leads, and related records) from an existing SAP Sales Cloud / SAP Service Cloud Version 2 tenant while retaining the same tenant and URL due to existing integrations.

Selective deletion or backend purge of Business Partner master data while retaining the same tenant and tenant URL is currently not supported in SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Recommended Workaround

Since selective backend purge is not supported, and Master data clean up only is not supported the recommended approach is:

• Use an un provisioned tenant within the customer landscape.
• Perform a configuration copy from the existing tenant to the new tenant without copying master data.
• Validate the new tenant and all integrations.
• Decommission the previous tenant.
• Provision the new tenant for productive or test usage.
