3759918 - Custom fields not available in case quick filters

Symptom

Cannot add custom fields to quick filters in Cases adaptation.

Environment

SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Cases.
  2. Open adaptation mode.
  3. Select the edit (pencil) icon near Quick Filter.
  4. Attempt to add a custom field to the quick filters list.

Cause

By design, only standard fields are available for selection in quick filters; custom fields cannot be added.

Resolution

  1. Use quick filters only with standard fields.
  2. To filter by custom fields (including user-based custom fields), use Advanced Filter on the list.
  3. Add the relevant custom field in Advanced Filter and apply the filter as needed.
