Symptom
Cannot add custom fields to quick filters in Cases adaptation.
Environment
SAP Service Cloud Version 2
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Cases.
- Open adaptation mode.
- Select the edit (pencil) icon near Quick Filter.
- Attempt to add a custom field to the quick filters list.
Cause
By design, only standard fields are available for selection in quick filters; custom fields cannot be added.
Resolution
- Use quick filters only with standard fields.
- To filter by custom fields (including user-based custom fields), use Advanced Filter on the list.
- Add the relevant custom field in Advanced Filter and apply the filter as needed.
