Symptom

  • In SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), the Content Enricher step does not enrich the message payload as expected.

    Typical observations include:

    • Payload remains unchanged after the Content Enricher step
    • Empty payload or missing nodes after enrichment
    • No data returned from the external call
    • XPath expression does not insert values correctly
    • No visible error in message monitoring
