  • MP Professional Tax (PTax) calculating on full salary instead of reduced salary slab during partial LOP 
  • Professional Tax (PTAX) calculation issue for Madhya Pradesh (MP) employees in Leave Without Pay (LOP) cases.
  • PTAX amount is deducted as a fixed monthly portion even when the total monthly gross after LOP falls below the expected MP PTAX slab.
  • The system continues to calculate PTAX despite reduced monthly gross due to LOP.
  • Madhya Pradesh professional tax in lop cases calculated from annual projected basis (/3ma), not reduced monthly gross 
  • Madhya Pradesh professional tax is calculated on Nominal salary and not on actual salary during Loss of pay.
  • Madhya Pradesh professional tax is calculated on basis of Wage type /119 instead of WT /118.
  • Madhya Pradesh professional tax should be calculated on basis of Wage type WT /118.
