3760191 - Rating from Live Profile not populating in Matrix Grid Reports despite ratings in Latest People Profile

• User has rating from Live Profile, however they remain unrated in the Matrix Grid Reports.
• When running a Employee Profile table report on All ratings for the user, the rating Min and Max for these live profile ratings shows as -1972.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

1. Go to Succession > Performance–Potential Matrix/Competency-Object Matrix
2. Select the desired filters
3. Observe that the user with rating in Latest People Profile Trend portlets, does not appear in the matrix grid.

In Latest People Profile, only fields that are configured and enabled in the Trend data model are stored and used. The min/max fields for the relevant Trend elements (for example, Custom1 & 2, Performance and Potential) were not configured, causing invalid or missing rating scale ranges and excluding the user from Matrix Placement.

Follow the steps below to configure and enable the min and max fields in the Trend portlets for all Trend elements used by the matrix:

1. Go to Admin Center > Manage Business Configuration.
2. Open the relevant Trend elements (for example, sysOverallObjective)
3. Add and enable the min and max fields, then save

Re-populate ratings so that valid min/max values are persisted:

1. Go to the Latest People Profile
2. Go to the Trend Portelts
3. Delete and re‑create the affected ratings for the correct period, or add a fresh rating entry.

(Optional) Regenerate placement history:

1. In Provisioning, run the “Regenerate Matrix Placement History” job and enable “Turn Off Optimization”.
   - Engage your implementation partner if Provisioning access is required.

Re-run the Matrix Grid Report:

1. Run the Matrix Grid report with filters that include the Live Profile rating time range.
2. Verify the user now appears in the 9‑box matrix.
