3760348 - Error message "Please define region XX for country/region XXXX" when replicating Employees

Error message "Please define region XX for country/region XXXX" occurs in Web Service Message Monitoring after Employee replication. 

Where 'XX' stands for the country code, and 'XXXX' for the Country or Region name.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to Administrator > Web Service Message Monitoring.
2. Search for and open the affected Message ID.
3. Or, use advanced search by inserting:
   • Status = Application Error
   • Service Interface = EmployeeReplicationIn
   • Error Text = Error while processing inbound third party communication
4. Click onGo
5. Click on any line and scroll down until the end
6. Detailed error text "Please define region XX for country/region XXXX" is shown.

Error message "Please define region XX for country/region XXXX" is shown because the code list mapping for the replicated region codes from Employees are not maintained properly.

Please maintain the related Country/Region Code (e. g. JP) and its description (e. g. Japan) in C4C via below steps:

1. Business Configuration > Code List Mapping for Integration with External Applications and Solutions.
2. Click on Maintain Code List Mapping.
3. Filter by Local Data Type Name column by "RegionCode".
4. Select first line for Mapping Rule.
5. Enter the missing code and its description.

Also, check if the Code and Description maintained in the external system is in accordance to what is being replicated to C4C (e. g. JP - Japan).
