3760349 - How the Data Removal view works in C4C

It is desired to understand how the Data Removal view from Data Protection and Privacy work center works.

In Personal Data Removal view from Data Protection and Privacy work center, below queries will be displayed:

• All Business Partners
• All Contacts
• All Employees
• All Private Accounts

All Business Partners = the total sum amount of Employees, Contacts and Individual Customers.
All Contacts = Contacts.
All Employees = Employees
All Private Accounts = Individual Customers.

 

The Personal Data Removal only allows to delete the personal information data from inside the Employees, Contacts or Individual Customers via "Remove Data" button. Once clicked, the screen will open and it is necessary to click on "Delete" and then "Yes". This will not delete the object itself.

Accounts, Individual Customers, Contacts and Employees are considered as Master Data in C4C and hence cannot be delete anyhow. It is only possible to remove the personal information (Address, Phone number, E-mail, etc) from it. The deletion is not possible in any work center or configuration from C4C UI and neither from backend.
